Default Can a storm bow be dyed?

i recently traded 5 plat and 5 silver dyes for a max dmg Storm Bow of Marksmanship. it has a 11% chance of +1 marksmanship during an attack. i tried to dye it orange, but it looks like it turned more blueish (if thats a word..) am i even able to dye it at all?

btw, did i get ripped off?

it really only changes to different shades of blue.

you probably could've paid less for it. that percentage on the marksmanship isnt all that great.

You can't really dye storm bow. Dying it only slightly changes the shades. With that said... The best dye for storm bow is silver, and the ugliest dye for storm bow is black.

if you have good eyes, and you love looking at your awesome weapon, dye it silver. To me, it makes it significantly brighter than an average storm bow (i went on a mission with a guy with a non-dyed storm bow, and mine was brighter). In dark places (caves), it stands out a lot if you dye it silver. I experimented, dying it orange doesnt do crap.
